Enterprise experience
Backend Lead of a multi-tenant e-learning SaaS platform used by training organizations across Italy.
From monolith to microservices
I lead the architectural migration from a Java monolith to a constellation of 20+ Spring Boot microservices on Java 21: API gateway, service discovery with Eureka, centralized configuration and inter-service communication with OpenFeign.
Kubernetes on AWS
Service orchestration on Kubernetes (AWS EKS) with a proprietary Helm chart: HPA autoscaling, Ingress with Application Load Balancer, staging and production environments, Docker images on a private registry and ECR.
Self-hosted video conferencing
Design and development of a Jitsi-based video conferencing platform with custom load balancing, integrated into the platform and with native Android, iOS and Flutter apps.
Observability and CI/CD
Monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana, CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, AWS managed services: SNS, SQS, SES, Lambda, CloudWatch and Route 53.
